We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our team at Aureya's LLC. As Chef Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and freshness.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that reflect our authentic South Pacific Island Theme Concept
  • Train, supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring that they adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of food supplies and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure it is clean, safe and in good working order
  • Manage food costs and labor costs to ensure profitability
  • Create and manage kitchen schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage during peak hours
  • Ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality, flavor and presentation
  • Ensure that all kitchen operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef Kitchen Manager
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, inventory management, and food safety
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of kitchen staff
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Creativity and passion for food and cooking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of South Pacific Island cuisine is a plus
